Terms & Conditions

Entry into the promotion is deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions.
1. Information on how to enter the competition forms part of the conditions of entry.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents over the age of eighteen. Employees (and their immediate families) of the Promoter and agencies associated with this promotion are ineligible to enter.
3. To enter the competition, entrants must by 7pm AEST Monday 27 September 2010, have either:
a. completed the ‘Craig's Royal Hotel - Legendary Dinner Competition Entry Form' and placed it in the competition entry box located at Craig's Royal Hotel Reception or The Courier; or
b. lodged an electronic entry form accessible on the Craig's Royal Hotel website at www.craigsroyal.com.au
4. Entry is via the Craig's Royal Hotel website (www.craigsroyal.com.au) or by collecting entry form from Craig's Royal Hotel, 10 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat; or at The Courier, 110 Creswick Road, Ballarat. Participants must register their name, address, phone and email.
5. One entry per person per day.
6. The Promotion period commences on Friday 2 July 2010 and closes at 7.00pm AEST on Monday 27 September 2010.
7. The Prize will be drawn in the presence of an independent witness on Wednesday 29 September 2010 at 11.00am AEST at Craig's Royal Hotel, 10 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat, Victoria 3350.
8. The first random valid entry drawn in the prize draw will win a ‘Legendary Dinner' for 10 people to dine in The Gallery Bistro at Craig's Royal Hotel, 10 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat, Victoria 3350. The Prize includes full choice of the Gallery Bistro menu and wine list with food and beverage to the value of $1000. The Prize does not include any other expenses and must be used before Tuesday 30 November 2010.
9. The Winner will be notified by telephone and will also be sent a letter within two days of the draw advising them of their prize.
10. Subject to any written direction should any prize remain unclaimed an unclaimed prize draw from all non-winning entries will take place at Craig's Royal Hotel, 10 Lydiard Street South, Ballarat, Victoria 3350 in the presence of an independent witness on Monday 4 October 2010 at 11.00am AEST and the Winner/s will be notified by telephone and will also be sent a letter within two days of the unclaimed prize draw advising them of their prize. The Promoter's decision is final and the promoter will not enter into correspondence regarding the Competition result.
11. The Promoter, in its absolute discretion, reserves the right to verify the validity of all entries and to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, or who submits an entry that is not in accordance with the terms and conditions of this promotion.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value.
13. Subject to any State Authority, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize in whole (or any of its components), with another prize of equal or greater value.
14. The Winner agrees to the use of their name, image and photographs for publicity and promotional purposes, without compensation, and agrees that the Promoter will own the copyright of any such images and photographs and in all material incorporating the photographs.
15. The Promoter assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alteration of entries.
16. Subject to the approval from any State Authority, if for any reason this promotion is not capable of running as planned; whether caused by infection of computer virus, mobile phone failure, line drop out, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other cause beyond the control of the Promoter that corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the promotion, subject to any written direction from any State Authority the Promoter reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion.
